Data and purposes
The form collects your name, email, optional phone number, subject and message. We use this information to respond and assess a possible engagement. We also receive information you choose to send by email, phone or WhatsApp.
Cloudflare processes technical data, including IP addresses and browser information, to deliver and protect the website. Turnstile checks access signals to prevent automated submissions. This version of the website includes no advertising or audience analytics tools.
Service enquiries are processed for steps taken at your request before a possible contract. Abuse prevention may rely on legitimate interests, taking account of individual rights. Legal obligations and the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims may also apply. We do not use form messages for marketing campaigns.
Providers and transfers
Cloudflare and Fastmail provide hosting, security and email delivery services. WhatsApp is an optional external channel also subject to its provider’s terms and privacy policy. Data may be disclosed to authorities where legally required.
These services may involve processing outside Brazil or the European Economic Area. Services involving international transfers must comply with the mechanisms and safeguards required by applicable law. You can request information about recipients and processing arrangements at the address above.
Retention and security
The form does not maintain a message database on the website; messages are forwarded by email. We retain messages while needed to answer enquiries, provide services, meet obligations or protect legal rights. Once those needs end, data should be deleted or anonymised, subject to lawful retention exceptions.
The website uses HTTPS. Access to received data should be restricted to authorised people who need it for their duties, subject to confidentiality requirements. Avoid sending sensitive documents or information in your first enquiry.
Your rights
You may request access, correction and other rights under the Brazilian LGPD and, where applicable, the GDPR, subject to legal conditions and exceptions. Write to contato@saslaw.com.br. We may need to verify your identity to protect your data.
Requests are handled within applicable legal deadlines. Under the LGPD, confirmation and access may be provided immediately in simplified form or in a complete statement within 15 days. Under the GDPR, the general response period is one month, with a reasoned extension where legally permitted. Our commercial response time of 24 business hours does not replace these deadlines.
You may complain to Brazil’s ANPD or Portugal’s CNPD, as applicable. Sending a message does not, by itself, engage the firm. This policy may be updated; the version date appears below.
